so here is my story...
Last summer i hit my heaviest weight ever, 200 lbs at only 5'7", after switching my bc to one that would not only be a bc but also (supposedly) help with other problems I was having at that point in time.  Before that, I fluctuated between 140 and 150, depending on if it was swim season and i was toned or not.
I gained 60 lbs in 4 months; despite doing cardio and aerobics for atleast an hour a day, and weight training every other day; the excess weight was making it literally painful to do any sort of activity due to injuries (more info later on)
I went back to the doctor and was taken off that horrible horrible medication, and had dropped 10 pounds in a week.
I was stuck at 190 pounds no matter how hard i worked myself, or how healthy i was eating, so i cut out carbinated drinks in January, and have since lost only 5 pounds.
I went back to my dr because i wanted to be tested to see if my hypoglycemia developed into diabetes or a thyroid problem.  She took a few blood tests, and everything came back negative.
So, I was "prescribed" a 3 day diet that is used in hospitals for fast-weightloss on patients that are going into surgery.
Some of you may wonder why its so urgent i get all the excess fat off; well i need surgery on my ribs and on my shoulder and have had to put it off due to weight gain.  The weight gain, however, has put a TON of pressure on my broken ribs, which is why its important to lose this weight, otherwise i do need surgery, which i cannot afford.
Anyways, I weighed myself yesterday morning at 186 on an empty stomach, and just after lunch today i am 185 pounds.
I never realized i could feel so full with so little food; my diet is a (very) low carb, high protein, and high fiber with set meal plans for 3 days in a row.  While i am on the 3 days I cannot exercise, as i am hypoglycemic and am only supposed to eat the pre-set meals + water and or black tea/coffee.
I am kind of feeling like this diet will get my partway to where i should be/would like to be, but im losing hope after my doctor has already given me those diet pill things and so on and so forth.
Anyways, I hope to be posting updates soon, as i would like to become more active again, and am trying hard not to lose hope.
